The day that was in...saada dilli
I love to be in Delhi...to shop...meet my frens and enjoy all my fav. food, Chole Bhature tops my list of fav. food in delhi, followed by the India mei world famous momo's...and of course all the food my very good fren A makes...yummm. I just love to eat these things and I am always cribbing in Agartala that I don't get to eat this and that...lekin jab mei delhi aati hun tab apne saare arman purey kar leti hun...the only thing which has changed abt Delhi food is the price and the no. of eateries which has come up in the past 5/6 yrs...otherwise all my fav. food tastes the same and I love that part abt the food here...I went to CP and Dilli Haat today...two places I love to visit for good food and shopping...over all I had a good time...met a school fren after 9 yrs and he was still the same...to my surprise...acc. to him I've changed beyond recognition....hahaha...I met my ex- colleague and good fren N at Dilli Haat...we did had a good time talking abt the Ahmedabad days... the day in saada dilli was sure good...despite all the running around I had to do today...

A visit to Tripura’s biggest and the only rubber wood factory
The TFDPC factory at Anandanagar for rubber wood is the biggest in Tripura, I had visited the factory earlier…..one of the biggest wooden furniture factory I’ve seen. The other wooden furniture factory I’ve seen is the Quetzel factory at Sarjapur, Bangalore that was also huge and very well managed the best part abt that factory…..its totally dust free…for a wooden furniture factory to be dust free…waoooo its really amazing. I had seen the whole operation at Quetzel how wood gets shaped, how edges are done in ply wood, the fine finish, the drying chamber, spray booth and the show room…I was mighty impressed with the Quetzel factory and even with TFDPC factory….currently the factory is doing only trial run…..I hope the factory gets into full production mode soon and produce the best quality rubber wood furniture in the country….

Hungry kya......
The first pic. from top is Aloo saag and its my all time fav. manipuri snacks, I like it more than singju or bora....sorry singju!!! but Manitombi's ( The Singju-bora yonbi in my neighbourhood back home) aloo saag is something I can do anything for. The 2nd pic. is of singju...before mixing it....its the ultimate salad anyone can have...among manipuri's it's the most popular snacks/salad, when I was a kid I used to buy aloo saag and hide it from mom and have it with my sisters...fearing mumma will scold. Funny even after so many years, I still have that feeling that mumma will scold for eating junk and food from outside whenever I buy singju, bora or Keli Chana and mind you the Keli Chana from our locality is really famous in Manipur. My friends always ask me to buy it, if I am visiting them whenever I go home for work or holiday. Hahaha how much I used to fear mumma...looking at these pics I feel hungry...very very hungry....
